For its new collaboration with Jordan, Miami-based boutique SoleFly chose the silhouette of the Air Jordan 13, an icon for several reasons that recall immediately the colors of the University Of North Carolina, where the legend of Michael Jordan started. Created by Tinker Hatfield and released in 1997, the Jordan 13 was the shoe that Michael Jordan broke Kareem Abdul-Jabbar’s NBA record by scoring double-digits for the 788th consecutive game. Also, it was the last shoe Michael wore for a complete season with the Chicago Bulls.
